TOCC Meeting Cancelled

Progressives Never Sleep, Are Rarely Calm or Quiet and Always Grab the Public Mic

Watching the March 30 Thousand Oaks City Council Meeting One Would Think T.O. is the Democrat South of Old

Tonight I watched in disbelief as messenger after prepared and scripted messenger from illegal immigrant organizations and Indivisible ilk lumped on heapings of RACISM and DIVERSITY and INEQUITY and WHITE HATE and BULLSHIT. If it were a drinking game – and it should be – you’d be blasted by the halfway point of the first operative. I counted thirty of those phrases in one crocodile tear filled opine.

There is no institutional racism in Thousand Oaks, Ventura County, California or even the majority of the United States of America. To use race as Indivisible operatives and their Democrat politicians do is racist. It’s a false construct meant to push forward an agenda of divisive and disgusting racist politics to garner voting blocks of black and brown folks to the democrat party who promises free education, free healthcare, free retirement on the back of the American taxpayer.

The big take away for me tonight is how asleep is the conservative base despite the pot clanking and flag waiving. We had better get our asses in meetings with strategists, planners and fundraisers or these lunatics who fake cry when recounting imagined and grossly hyperbolic exaggerations of perceived persecutions at the grocery mart are going to convince a spineless boards of politicians to act on their behalf instead.

The faces of Mayor De La Pena, city attorney Tracey Noonan, members Ed Jones and Andrew Powers reacting to both the soap opera callers and the two or three realists who caught wind of what was going on was night and day. Body language tells a lot about what a person is thinking. Go and watch the public comments from the March 30 TO City Council meeting and see for yourself the soft posturing vs. the uncomfortable squirms.
